Therouanne Ragnerock

Age: 40 - Occupation: Retired Knight
A Duskwight man born in Ishgard to a Sharlyan Wildewood woman and a Shroud Duskwight man. Raised in outer Dravania after being orphaned.
Working under house Dzemael his responsibilities included hunting down those accused of heresy. Slaughtering countless heretics all in the name of "The Holy See", he came to be known as a cold and ruthless soldier. He later became knighted after saving his men from a notorious dravanian but in the struggle he lost his right eye (damage/blindness but its still in his skull) as well as his partner Silvaiire.
The church saw his actions as selfless and heroic. Thero resents his knighting but it gives him free reign to unleash his more sinister actions uninterrupted. Collecting the bodies of those who fell to him, he uses his crude skill of alchemy and self taught magics in an attempt to reanimate Silvaiire. So far, his attempts have failed.
After the Dragonsong war ended, his work as a hunter of heretics was deemed irrelevant in the newly reformed Ishgard, he was still working but was usually given meaningless tasks or asked to hunt down criminals making him no more than an average merc.
His anger, resentment and rage towards Dravanians and his fellow man makes him contemplate leaving Ishgard all together. His restlessness and occasional 'slip ups' (hunting heretics) led him to be forced into retirement. The current council deems him too dangerous to continue his duties, but since he is considered a man of great importance to the community he was not punished. His forced retirement was implemented to prevent him from hunting dravanians or heretics. However, Thero has his own agenda and continues his 'hunts' in secrecy.
Currently Thero still resides in his home of Ishgard. Searching for meaning, something to fight for, someone to fight alongside.
